Below you can find information about all the intellectual outputs and project results prepared by the Stay in Touch project team.

Result O1 - The program of the International Academy of Teaching (IAT) along with teaching materials

Leader: Universidad de Castilla La Mancha

The main goal of MAD is to raise the competence of lecturers from 4 partner universities in the field of modern and effective didactic and design work with students. Issues and topics that were undertaken during MAD included, among others: Design Thinking in didactics, balanced development in project work, modern teaching methods, including new methods of communication addressed to the Y generation, the use of new technologies, including applications supporting education, blended-learning, case studies, drama, serious games; exchange of international experiences (how to teach in a multicultural environment). The program of the International Didactics Academy included 5 training days. As an addition to the program, training materials were also developed: training presentations, handouts for participants from which MAD participants will be able to use in further didactic work.
The International Academy of Didactics took place in March 2017 in Spain at Universidad de Castilla La Mancha.

Result O3 - An online database of "Socially responsible projects"

Leader: Wyższa Szkoła Informatyki I Zarządzania Rzeszow

A benchmarking survey was conducted, the main subject of which were solutions related to the subject of socially responsible design: in the fields of advertising, packaging, education, visual identification, publications, multimedia, etc. experiences was collected, examples of good and bad practices from around the world. Result O4 - A manual of " Socially responsible projects"

Leader: Wyższa Szkoła Informatyki I Zarządzania Rzeszow

The "socially responsible projects" handbook is to provide additional material for students, which they will be able to use during the classes and after the course, during the projects, they carry out. The manual will be available as an open educational resource for designers who do not participate in the "Socially Responsible Projects" course and feel the need to improve their knowledge in this area.

Result O5 – A material guidebook for a socially responsible designer

Leader: Tischner European University 

The guide gathers the technical knowledge necessary to optimize projects in terms of social responsibility. The guide gathers knowledge of, among others, materials from which you can make designed products (from posters, through books, and ending with packaging), including paper, paints, or additives (plastic, aluminum, etc.), technical requirements (eg pallet size, dimensions of storage shelves, storage conditions in terms of temperature and humidity, etc.). The guide not only indicates their level of "friendliness" for the environment, but also the costs associated with the preparation and operation, their advantages and disadvantages and the potential threat of the so-called greenwashing.

Result 06 - 2 multimedia lectures " Socially responsible projects " 

Leader: Tischner European University 

Both lectures are primarily an introduction to socially responsible design. They are also designed to inspire users to search for new design solutions and to engage in further activities provided for in the concept of the "socially responsible projects" course. Each lecture have the form of a 30-minute film with interactive elements (buttons referring to other content, quizzes checking the concentration and knowledge of users, etc.).

Result O7 - A series of 10 e-learning courses " Socially responsible projects"

Leader: Tischner European University

10 e-learning courses are the support stationary classes conducted as part of the "socially responsible projects" course. The courses are of two types: simple (based mainly on text, images / illustrations, limited number of multimedia) and complex (to a large extent multimedia using various forms of content presentation, with a lot of interaction, branching scenarios of so-called "branching").

Result O8 – A series of 6 podcasts for the course "socially responsible projects"

Podcasts take the form of interviews or discussion-talks in which guests are sharing their own experiences in socially responsible projects; there are also controversial issues regarding the social responsibility of the designer and ambiguously evaluated by the environment of designers and experts (ideological, ethical, aesthetic etc.).

Result O9 - A casebook of „Socially responsible projects”

Leader: Athens School of Fine Arts

Casebook with a working title of "Socially Responsible Projects" will contain 12 case studies. These will be both good and bad practices, with extensive description and a didactic commentary as well as illustrations / photos / sketches. Casebook will be one of the didactic materials addressed mainly to students, but it will also be available more widely - for the whole environment of designers (especially beginners).

 

Result O11 - The "Stay in touch" application with additional materials

Leader: Tischner European University

Online application, available on PC and mobile devices. It is based mainly on the self-diagnosis system (checklist - questions and answers), thanks to which the designer can assess to what extent the project developed by him is socially responsible. The application will give the user feedback information using the result displayed in the form of percentages, icons and hints as to how the user can improve the social responsibility of their project. In addition, as part of the application, you can download extra materials, including a simplified checklist in the form of infographics (for printing and hanging at the workplace) and hints for (especially beginners) designers, what is worth paying attention to when creating socially responsible projects.

Result O12 - A teaching manual on "Socially responsible projects”

Leader: Universidad de Castilla La Mancha

The result of the first two editions of the "socially responsible projects" course and the International Didactics Academy will be a textbook for didactics who in the future will conduct classes within the "socially responsible projects" course or other related activities based on the results developed in the project. The manual will contain content on the objectives and methods of education within the course and individual classes, comments on individual materials constituting the course's teaching enclosure (material characteristics, technical and organizational requirements, didactic potential, application options, problem questions for students, inspiration to work with participants of the course etc.), as well as instructions on how to use the Design Thinking method in class.

Result O13 - The preliminary and The final program of the course " Socially responsible projects " with additional materials

Leader: Tischner European University

Based on the analysis of the education programs of partner universities and in response to the expectations of the labour market, the program framework for the new course "Socially Responsible Projects" will be defined. An initial version of the curriculum will be prepared on the basis of which, as part of the project, two pilot editions will take place. The outline of the program (its initial version) and the experience from the implementation of the first pilot edition will be the basis for formulating the final version of the program. The program will include not only a list of subsequent modules and individual classes, but also full documentation compliant with the NQF and internal regulations of the TEU, including class cards defining the effects and content of education, organizational framework, bibliography, assessment methods, ECTS points, etc., as well as lesson plans, multimedia presentations.
