Helping Students Navigate College and Beyond
DESCRIPTION
The challenge was to develop a coaching model for new students who often feel lost when they start their studies. It was decided to prepare an app for mobile devices (MyCoach app, available in AppStore and Google Play), that would facilitate the start into student’s life. The app was to help students organize their budgets and schedules, personalize their college experience to reflect student’s unique values, build networks of students of similar interests, create social links. These features enabled students to take ownership of their education and feel in control of their future
JUSTIFICATION
The app was implemented in a few university campuses in the USA – an actual proof of its success. Using the app enable just-enrolled students better start in adult life.
